Best Men's Shopping in Nashville
Guest post from Nashville men's style blogger, Emmanuel LeGrair, @thebettermanual
For the most part, guys don’t like to spend hours shopping. As a men’s blogger, I am often asked where to buy certain items to lessen the search time. When I respond, I respond with what they ask for but I often find myself speaking to my experiences in these shopping destinations. Because great men’s shopping destinations are fewer in number, when I find one, I tell everyone about it.
In keeping with the name of the blog, Experience Nash, I thought that I would offer some great shopping experiences for guys. Though this is not a definitive list, I based my recommendations on three things that I look for when shopping; customer service (helpful but not overbearing), offerings (are they relevant, current, and are there any perks associated with shopping there), and aesthetics (design, lighting, and merchandising). Hey, if we must go, let’s have a good time doing it right?
Rooted – A Nashville-based sneaker and upscale streetwear boutique located on Hermitage Ave. This space is next level and the owners are great guys. They are clearly passionate about what they do and love to meet, talk with, and get to know their customers while they are shopping. From the first time that you enter the space, you’ll want to come back just to be seen there. I have not seen their blend of offerings anywhere else in Nashville – so you’ll truly have a one of a kind shopping experience.
Peter Nappi – Arguably one of the most beautiful stores in the country and a true Nashville gem. Jaw dropping interior design and quality leather goods is what you’ll find here. It’s a bit off of the beaten path, but when you experience it, you’ll understand why. On top of all of this, the staff is amazingly friendly and last I heard, there’s a Bloody Mary bar on Sundays.
Haymakers and Company – This is a great store that has much to offer. While you shop, enjoy a drink from their full bar, and even get a haircut from an in-house master barber. How’s that for a full experience? Stylish clothing, classic products, and a variety of wares located on West End.
If you have any suggestions or have had great experiences here in Nashville, shoot us a note and perhaps I could do a second edition/future post! Have fun guys!
