Nashville now tops Memphis in Population

It's official: Census population estimates released this week show Nashville being home to 660,388 people in 2016, vs. Memphis at 652,717 residents -- 7,671 fewer than Nashville.

I always thought it odd Nashville was behind Memphis population-wise, but this is the case no more. First the news of Ikea, now this: Nashville continues to boom, becoming Tennessee's largest city.
